About Neoclassical Ringtones
Still very much a beginner, I recently started writing musical scores in my spare time and migrated from whole scores to ringtones because it allowed to indulge my love of technology (moblie phones) and music, but also because I'm rarely able to find the time required to finish longer scores.
I came up with the motto Musica se scribit because it often feels as if music writes itself - with ideas seemingly coming out of nowhere.
How are they composed?
I compose all of my music using Sibelius, which is a scorewriter or musical notation program. The sounds come from virtual instruments which are digital recordings of instruments which work in conjunction with the scorewriter, responding to the notes on the page.
